WordPress care plans

We built it. Let us look after it.

Your website needs regular updates, security patches, and the occasional content change. Instead of worrying about it, hand it to the team that built it.

Not a Goodside build? We can still take care of it. Talk to us.

Everything your website needs to stay healthy

We handle the technical side so your team can focus on the work that matters.

WordPress updates

We keep WordPress core, your theme, and all plugins up to date. Updates are tested before they go live so nothing breaks.

Security monitoring

Daily malware scans, firewall management, and brute-force protection. If something suspicious happens, we deal with it before you even notice.

Daily backups

Your entire site is backed up every day and stored securely off-site. If anything goes wrong, we can restore it quickly.

Uptime monitoring

We monitor your site around the clock. If it goes down, we're alerted immediately and get it back up — often before anyone notices.

Content changes

Need to update a phone number, swap a photo, or add an event? Send us an email and we'll take care of it.

Priority support

When something needs fixing, you email us directly. No ticketing systems, no chatbots. A real person who knows your site.

When does the care plan start?

Every Goodside build includes a 30-day post-launch warranty covering bugs, technical issues, and training follow-up. Complete packages include 6 months of the Care plan and Priority packages include 12 months of the Growth plan, both starting from launch day. Foundation clients can join a care plan at any point. The warranty and care plan are separate: the warranty ends, the care plan is ongoing.

Two plans. No lock-in.

Both plans include everything your website needs to stay updated, secure, and running. Cancel anytime with 30 days' notice.

Questions about our care plans

No. Both plans are rolling monthly. If you want to cancel, just give us 30 days' notice. No penalties, no exit fees.

Anything that updates what's already on your site: changing text, swapping images, updating contact details, editing an existing page, or adding a news or events post. To give you a practical sense of scope: 30 minutes typically covers 2 to 3 text edits or one image swap. Two hours typically covers updating several pages, adding a new events post, refreshing your homepage banner, and similar routine tasks. If a request looks like it will exceed your monthly allowance, we will tell you before doing the work.

Any work beyond your monthly allowance is charged at £90 per hour, billed in 30-minute increments. We will always confirm the estimated time and cost before starting, so there are no surprises on your invoice. New pages, design changes, or larger builds are quoted separately as one-off projects. Care plan clients get priority scheduling and no markup on project work.

We primarily support WordPress sites we've built ourselves. If you have an existing WordPress site, get in touch and we'll take a look — we may be able to help.

We'll fix it. Our security monitoring catches most issues before they cause damage, but if something does get through, we'll clean it up and restore your site from our backups at no extra charge.

Yes. You can switch between Foundation and Growth at any time. Changes take effect from your next billing date.
