Rebuild package, from £12,500

A proper rebuild for the website you've outgrown.

Ageing WordPress, hundreds of pages, donation forms nobody dares touch. We rebuild established charity websites: content migrated in full, every URL redirected, accessibility tested with evidence, and a CMS your team can run without calling a developer.

Fixed price after discovery. No commitment at this stage, just a conversation.

Full content migration included
Every URL redirected, rankings preserved
WCAG 2.2 AA, tested with evidence
No VAT on our fees

The site that served you well now slows you down.

Established charities outgrow their websites quietly. One year the site is fine, the next it is the thing everyone works around.

Nobody dares touch it

The site is years old, the plugins are out of date, and the person who built it is long gone. Every change feels like a gamble, so changes stopped happening.

Hundreds of pages, no map

Old campaigns, duplicate pages, resources nobody can find. The content outgrew its structure years ago, and now visitors and search engines both get lost in it.

Rebuilding feels like a risk

Lose your Google rankings? Break the donation forms? Lose ten years of content? Those are the right worries. They are also solved problems, with a migration plan that treats them as part of the job.

Everything a replatform needs, priced as one project.

The Rebuild package is for established charities and CICs replacing a site they have outgrown: large content libraries, events programmes, online donations, and a team that needs to publish without friction.

It starts with a discovery phase: every page on your current site catalogued, and a keep, merge, or retire decision made for each. That is what lets us fix the price before the build begins, and it is why the migration does not lose things.

Most rebuilds land between £12,500 and £32,000, depending on content volume, donation complexity, and integrations. If you are running a formal tender, we respond with itemised proposals, build, hosting and support costs shown separately, and contactable charity references. See the sites we have built.

One more thing worth knowing: Goodside is not VAT registered, so there is no VAT on our fees. Most charities cannot reclaim VAT, which makes a like-for-like quote from a VAT-registered agency around 20% more expensive than it looks.

Rebuild package from £12,500 — fixed after discovery

Built for organisations whose website is infrastructure.

If your site does real work every day, replacing it deserves more care than a redesign. This is for you if any of these sound familiar.

Charities with large content libraries

Resource hubs, publications, guidance documents, and archives that staff add to every week. We rebuild the structure so people can actually find things, and migrate every item with its URL redirected.

Organisations taking donations online

One-off gifts, regular giving by direct debit, and campaign appeals. We build donation journeys on Stripe and GoCardless that your finance team and your donors can both trust.

Programme and events-led organisations

Training calendars, recurring sessions, venue listings, and booking links. We build events sections that staff maintain themselves, not a diary that quietly goes stale.

Support services and helplines

Organisations whose visitors may be vulnerable or in crisis. Clear signposting, accessible design, and safety features like quick-exit buttons, built to WCAG 2.2 AA and tested.

Faith-based charities

National programmes run with churches, mosques, temples, and community partners. We present the charitable work clearly so funders, volunteers, and beneficiaries each find what they need.

Organisations running a tender

If you are inviting proposals for a website redevelopment, we work comfortably within formal procurement: structured responses, references, and a process your panel can score.

Four stages. Your old site stays live throughout.

A rebuild runs 12 to 16 weeks depending on scale. Nothing switches over until the new site has been tested, and the switchover itself preserves every address your visitors and search engines rely on.

Weeks 1-2

Discovery and audit

We catalogue every page, post, and document on your current site, agree what to keep, merge, or retire, and map the integrations. At the end of this stage the price is fixed and the plan is written down.

Weeks 3-8

Design and build

We design around your audiences and build in WordPress: page templates, the content library, events, and donation journeys. You see working pages early and shape them as we go.

Weeks 9-12

Migrate and verify

Content and media move across, the redirect map is applied, and the site is tested: accessibility with evidence, performance, security, and every donation and contact journey walked through end to end.

Launch

Launch and stabilise

A soft launch, training for your team, and documentation you will actually use. Then 90 days of stabilisation while the new site beds in, with rankings and redirects monitored.

Common questions about rebuilds.

The Rebuild package starts at £12,500, and most projects land between £12,500 and £32,000. What moves the price is content volume, donation complexity, and the number of integrations. The price is fixed after discovery, so you know the full cost before the build begins. There is no hourly billing.
Not if the migration is done properly. Every URL on your old site gets a mapped redirect to its new home, the map is tested on a staging site before launch, and rankings are monitored for 90 days afterwards. Preserving search visibility is part of the package, not an optional extra.
Most rebuilds run 12 to 16 weeks from kick-off to launch. Your existing site stays live the whole time, so there is no gap in service, and nothing switches over until the new site has been verified.
Yes, and this is a design goal from day one, not an afterthought. The build includes training, plain-English documentation, and a CMS structured around the things your team actually publishes: news, events, resources. If your current site can only be updated by a developer, that problem ends here.
Yes. We are comfortable working within formal procurement: proposals structured to your headings, build, hosting and support costs shown separately, contactable charity references, and conflict of interest declarations. If you are preparing a tender and want to talk first, book a call.
No. Goodside is not VAT registered, so there is no VAT on our fees. Most charities cannot reclaim VAT, which means a like-for-like quote from a VAT-registered agency costs around 20% more than the headline number.
Most rebuild clients move onto the Platform care plan at £350 per month: three hours of changes, priority response, integration monitoring, and a quarterly accessibility check. There is no obligation, and no contract if you do join.

The site you have was right for then. Build the one that's right for now.

A 20-minute call is enough to tell you whether a rebuild is the right move and what it would cost. No commitment, no pressure, no sales deck.
